I know this is a long time in coming but I wanted to really give the heat shield a good test. I ride a HD Fat Boy that has had a few modifications so it looks like a miniature Ultra Classic. Since I am only 4' 11" I am hugging the bike and as a result the heat is very bad...one time I had 3 bad blisters from the heat. When I installed the Kool King heat shield it was the greatest thing and I am not using the lower flap unless the temperature gets above 90 degrees. I still feel a little of the heat but it is not hot even when riding in city traffic, stopping and sitting at traffic lights...used to do a little dance to try and get away from the heat. My test was done in Arizona in 90+ temperatures on a 300 mile ride and I was comfortable the entire ride...had to add the side panels for the return trip across the desert.

I am usually very leery of so called fantastic claims, but I must say the Kool King is everything PLUS what your advertisement states. Being here in FL with the heat, the Kool King has made my rides much more enjoyable. Even the new HD heat shields didn't cool things off. The new Kool King cover is the answer. FLOTC-HOG Ride Safe Sgt. Al Fryer II, A083-63 - October 06, 2008 I still love my Koolking. I went on a 180 mile ride Saturday and a 300 mile ride Sunday and never got hot. Plus it looks good on my 2008 Anniversary Harley Ultra Classic. I get a lot of complements from other bikers. Unfortunately most of them are on Hondas or Kaw’s. Thanks again,

After our conversation I made the adjustments which worked wonderfully Yesterday my wife and I went on a 60 mile ride which was so much more enjoyable then our past rides. You have saved my hide! Literally!
My husband took some pictures of me and my bike to show you. Even though I'm not as cute as your model, you can see how nice it looks on my bike. I'm definitely going to tell my girlfriend and anyone else that asks, because you HAVE created a miracle!

Dick & Becky Landick December 08, 2007If you are looking for a quality heat eliminator for your Harley, and a company that believes in quality customer service: "under promise and deliver," then KoolKing is the site you really need to check out. Finally, a product that actually works and does what it states it will do.. eliminate the uncomfortable engine/exhaust heat during the summer, and give you the ability to use the engine's warmth during the winter by removing the panels.. all without having to remove the seat but once to install (which only takes a couple of minutes and no mechanical skill whatsoever!).
My wife and I were recently in Miami Visiting our daughter over the Thanksgiving holiday. We rode down from Virginia Beach, Virginia on a 07 Ultra and a 06 Deluxe (my wife's, which has a true dual exhaust with a high rise exhaust section on the left side). The heat was tremendous and we had tried everything to disperse the heat for her; unfortunately, none really worked well. Determined to find something to give her more comfort. I located a company (as luck would have it) in Miami by the name of KoolKing. Checking their website, I fund what appeared to be the perfect answer, and it even included custom embroidering on the side pieces!
We were just a couple of days form leaving to return to Virginia and, thought emails, the company's founder and owner, Patrick King, asked if we would like to meet us and he would have the appropriate KoolKings with him so my wife could ride around Miami for a couple of days in comfort and be able to depart back to Virginia with them installed. I couldn’t believe the customer service when Patrick met us at a local mall and even helped install them on my wife's bike. He even went so far as to have the embroidery done (my wife was ecstatic!!).
I rarely make testimonials on items like this, but if you want a quality product that actually works, is reasonable priced, fix well, looks good and will last.. KoolKings are for you. Finally, get rid of some of the heat that the new H-D engines generate… KoolKings indeed work!! The KoolKings for the '07-'08 H-D touring bikes will be available mid-December 2007, and you can bet I'll be first in line to order.

Put on my bike last Friday and went on a 75 mile poker run on Saturday. It's everything your advertising said it was, KOOL.
