Q. I have an 2003 Ultra just like in the gallery, question, if it deflects the heat from the rider, won't it keep the heat on the engine, causing overheating? Joe
A. This is probably the most asked question and no it will not cause the engine to get hotter or over heat. There is still plenty of space around the area that allows the heat to escape. 06/02/08

A. You would need the KoolKing KKST8 for your motorcycle and the KoolKing at this time can only be purchased off the internet in the State of California.

Q. I have a 2008 Harley Ultra Classic. You have two models. One covers the entire battery area under the seat and the other has a large opening area under the seat. Will they both fit my bike and is one better than the other? Al
A. The one that covers the entire battery area is the KoolKing KKTR1 for motorcycles of the year 2006 and prior. The one with the large opening area under the seat is the KoolKing model KKTR8. Because of changes Harley-Davidson had done such as the larger gas tank, etc. for the model year 2008, the KoolKing was redesigned in order to fit correctly. Both models are of equal quality and work equally well. 05/09/08
Q. Can these KoolKing's be purchased without logo and advertisement on them? Thomas
A. Yes, all product comes in the standard Black color with no logo or advertisement. What you are seeing is purely for the Website. 04/27/08
Q. Hello, was wondering if u could put the Marine Corps Emblem on your product? I saw the POW and I would be interested in having the POW on one side and the USMC emblem on the other side. Doug

Q. I am very interested in your product. My wife gets hot on my Ultra when temps get to ninety and above. I currently have one of those after market lexan heat shields that mount under the seat. It does help some the driver but really does nothing for the passenger. Can your product be mounted with that shield on? Luke
A. You will not have to take off the after market lexan heat shield to install the KoolKing. For the passenger extra pads are offered on the website as an extension.

Q. I have an adjustable seat back, will this effect its use after installation? Nikki
A. No, the KoolKing sits far enough forward that it would not interfere with an adjustable seat back. 11/28/07
Q. I am interested in two KoolKing's, 1 for an Ultra Classic and 1 for a Softail Deluxe. The Deluxe is not listed under the Softail, but your home page photo is of a Deluxe. Accordingly, can I order one for a Deluxe? Would want both sides embroidered on both, Deluxe with the Rose and my wife's name Ultra with the POW emblem and my name. What would be the cost with the shipping and the lead time? Dick
A. The Ultra Classic would need KoolKing KKTR1 and the Deluxe would need the KoolKing KKST5. You can check out the cost for embroidery on the website, normally a 2.5" x 2.5" embroidery is $45.00 per embroidery. Shipping UPS ground to your area would be around $26.00 for both. Lead time for all special embroidery or special colors is roughly 10 working days. 11/13/07

Q. I am very interested in your product, I own a 2007 Ultra Classic. Even though I have switched to true dual, the heat still is harsh at stop lights and traffic with Texas summers. My concern is trapping heat for starter and electronics under the cover (Fuel Pak module) and keeping my passengers legs cool. Wll the thickness of the pad under the seat does not interfere with seat after installation? Ron
A. The heat will not be trapped and the KoolKing will not interfere with any electronics under the seat. Extra extensions can be purchased separately to help protect passengers.The thickness of the KoolKing will not interfere with the reinstallation of the seat. 08/08/07
